My Story

I lost €500,000.
And rebuilt everything by changing how I think.

In 2020, COVID destroyed my accounting firm. A business I had built over nearly fifty years. Gone, almost overnight. I was €500,000 in debt.

Every morning I woke up with a knot in my stomach. Every time I opened the post, I had a panic attack — terrified of what the next envelope contained. Another bill. Another demand. Another reminder that everything I had worked for was falling apart.

My son was eight years old. When he asked if we were going on holiday, I didn't know what to say. One evening he looked at me and asked:

"Dad, are we poor?"

I didn't have an answer. That was my lowest point.

I tried everything to fix it. New strategies. New plans. More hours. More pressure. More effort. Nothing worked — because I was trying to solve a new problem with the same thinking that had created it.

Then I discovered the Thinking Into Results methodology, developed by Bob Proctor. And one line stopped me completely:

I realised everything I was thinking about was focused on the problem — the debt, the fear, the worst-case scenario. I was thinking from the outside in. My circumstances were controlling my mind.

So I made a decision. I started thinking from the inside out. I stopped focusing on what was wrong and started asking: what is possible? I changed my identity — from someone surviving, to someone building. I took aligned action, every single day.

And my life began to change.

Today I have built my dream life. And now I use everything I learned — both the mindset transformation and the practical business skills I've developed — to help service-based entrepreneurs across the UK, Ireland, and the US do the same.

I know what it feels like to be stuck. To work harder and harder and get the same results. To be scared to open the next email. To wonder if things will ever change.
